We make dresses for the days you'll remember.

Thousaints started in 2018 with one idea: occasion dressing had become either forgettable or unwearable. Everything in between — the dress that fits properly, holds its shape through dinner, and still looks right in every photograph — was surprisingly hard to find.

So that's what we make. Corseted bodices with real boning. Satin and crepe with enough weight to hang instead of cling. Lace that reads as lace, not as a print of one. Every style is fitted on a person before it goes into production, because a dress that only works on a mannequin isn't finished.

How we design

We work in small collections rather than constant drops. A style stays until it stops selling, not until the season turns. That's why the dress you bought two years ago is still on the site, and why the one you're looking at now was refined through three fittings before it reached you.
